All trail reports will be posted on the counties web site at www.waukeshasno.org or on it's phone hotline @ 414-299-0330.

You can post how the trail conditions were on your rides if you would like too.

Here is a copy of an email I just received about the Waukesha County Trail System. Looks like there is going to be a little wait yet

The funded trail system in Waukesha County is closed and will remain closed until we have enough cold weather to freeze the swamps and low areas. Parts of the Bug Line are bare. Because of a lot of rain there are many places that are flooded.

Trees have fallen down from the strong winds. Before you call Andy to open your section of trail you must ride it yourself to be sure that it is fit to open. We don't want sleds stuck on the trail. We don't want sleds riding on the Bug Line with out 6" of snow cover.

We are thinking about doing some snow trail knock down with the groomers this Saturday or Sunday cold weather permitting.

Call Harold or Andy with questions.

Think Snow, Harold
